Barbara loves many different types of books and is particularly partial to crime fiction set in Britain and in her own country. Below are some of her favourite Canadian writers who are making their mark.

 

 

 

Vicki Delany: Versatile and prolific author of numerous mystery series and standalones.

 

Mary Jane Maffini: Also a versatile and prolific author of four different series, and Canada's queen of comedy.

 

Linda Wiken: Linda is a member of the Ladies Killing Circle. She writes gentle, cosy mysteries and has one series published under Erika Chase and another under her own name, 

 

Dave Butler: British Columbia author of vivid, compelling adventure thrillers with a social message.

 

Maureen Jennings: Versatile and prolific author of the renowned Detective Murdoch series, as well as others.

 

Jayne Barnard: Versatile Calgary author who captures the beauty and challenge of the Canadian west.

 

Brenda Chapman: Versatile author of Young Adult and Rapid Reads mysteries as well as adult thrillers.
